Union Grif Unique Victory (Popi) Union Grif Unique Victory aka Popi. She was brought from kennel “Union Grif” in St Petersburg. Her father is small Brabancon Griffon Leo Belgicus Disco Deejah and her mother is Brussels Griffon Bonsuir Marcelina.
Popi is extremely friendly and curious but a little bit distrustful towards strange dogs. We’re working on improving her reaction to other dogs, trying to encourage the same trust and confidence as when she meets other people, but it seems Popi just needs more time than my other dogs. At the same time, when another dog owner offers treats, she overcomes her fears and takes sides with bigger dogs in begging for a snack. Popi has successfully passed puppy training at Koeruse and is getting agility training at A-koer.
Popi is motivated by praise and reward. Therefore, we’ve based her training on that – you have to be overwhelmingly positive and never be stingy with rewards. Praise leads to success!
